IB DP Class Structure

Session Structure:

  • Customised Plans: Class duration and frequency tailored to student needs. 
  • Flexible Formats: Hourly sessions for topic-specific help or annual plans to cover the complete curriculum. 
  • Minimum IB compliance: Our annual plans are designed to meet or exceed the instructional hour expectations outlined in IB subject guides. 

Assessment Structure: 

 (We align our pacing with the official IB calendar and incorporate internal and external assessment cycles as per IB policy.) 

  • Formative Practice: Concept worksheets, guided discussions, and regular homework with detailed error-correction. 
  • Summative Tasks: Sectional tests mapped to IB subject-specific criteria. 
  • Mock Exams: 8–10 full-length simulated tests in Years 1 and 2 (Grade 11th and 12th) to prepare for IB external exams or IB eAssessments. 
  • Mentor Reviews: Post-test debrief sessions identifying strengths, growth areas, and Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills for improvement.
